The two oldest boys, Dylan and T.J., have been waiting for a letter from their first penpals. They wrote their first letters last week and as I read them I couldn't help but laugh a little inside. They were short and sweet. I'm sure they will get longer after they get to know their penpals better but I'm just glad they are so excited about it.
We have been studying up on Native Americans this week due to the boys are going to search for arrowheads and other artifacts on an old reservation, at a friends, on Sunday. They have been talking about it all week after seeing the pottery and arrowheads that have already been found there.
This week has seemed like two but as I said before, I feel we accomplished a lot. It is about time for summer and baseball to start distracting them away from their school work so I always feel a sense of relief when we complete every planned assignment.
